How to manage your 24 hours

Find out where you are wasting your time Before you begin, make a daily routine of what you do during the day.you will be surprised to find out that you are spending so much time doing nothing.

cut down on after school activities While its great to be perfect and a part of debating club,dramatic club,quiz club,library squad and every other school group , it is impossible to manage all these and also find time to study and relax. make a conscious decision on which club you really want to go

Plan your study time like your school hours,your study period should also be a fixed time everyday. make your family nad friends aware of that from this to this time everyday is your study time. stick to it as far as possible.

Find out your best way of studying Some people are good audio learners, some are good visual learners, some need absolute silence when studying ,while others need to listen to music. there is no one correct way. however unorthodox your way may be,if it helps you to remember , make it your way.

Maintain a study planner mark your upcoming exams in red and projects in green.blot out special days like birthdays and festivals. now make your study plan. if you follow this systematically, you will find that you have enough time to enjoy a birthday party or a festival without worrying about not studying.

Follow a daily routine Keep specific time for specific things. by following a daily routine, you will also find that you are having your meals on time and have a plenty of time to do other things.

Plane your play time This is extremely important. you remember the age-old adage,all work and no play makes jack a dull boy. keep at least an hour everyday for 'your time'. don't waste it by lazing in front of the tv or chatting on thenet. do some physical activity.

Cut down on tv viewing have your fixed hour or so of tv viewing. choose one or two programmes that you would like to watch.

Teach yourself to relax don't get stressed out. once stressed, you waste half your time worrying. learn to relax by listening to music or doing yoga for about half an hour everyday. they are wonderful stress buster. if you are worried about something,don't keep it inside you, discuss it with a friend or someone close to you.

Keep your things in an orderly fashion So many of us waste half our time searching for things that we have 'kept away safely'. by properly managing your books and toys yourself, you know where exactly each thing is.
